Through your letting go of the past and future and coming into the present moment, I will take you on a journey that promises to transcend the old vision of who you thought you had to be to be loved. This is my gift to you, and my gift to myself. There is nothing that brings me more joy than taking you to the place in you that creates joy and space revels in it!
Your part is to show up with an open heart, willing to create on an empty canvas. You"ll be felt by wonderful teachers bringing movement, breathing and meditation, cleansing and re-connecting to the spirit of your cells, Hula and storytelling, swimming in the deep turquoise of La Perouse Bay with dolphins and sea turtles and surrendering to the true flow of the Universe. Just like your dreams you will walk out of your burdens and self-judgment, return other people energies with forgiveness and compassion, and drift effortlessly into the arms of the Beloved. You'll find what you have been looking for all your life—your Self. The Receiving Self.
And all of this to take place in the Hawaiian Islands. I like to walk the earth in Hawaii because you can feel the history of the islands coming through your feet. I am excited about walking the lay lines of the Ancient Ones with the black lava rocks stretching out for miles along the Pacific; to imprint peace and love with every step, with reverence and intention.
The Napili Kai Resort- Our Venue on Maui - I am so excited to announce that the accommodations for RETURN TO YOURSELF will be at the Napili Kai Resort on the northwest shore of the island of Maui. It was here, in 1989, that I found my path to self-healing and inner peace. It was here that I found the face of compassion. It happened one day as I was body surfing in Napili Bay. I decided to swim out a little further. I dove down into the gentle turquoise waves and closed my eyes. When I opened them a shimmering Presence glided toward me. I was astonished! I thought she was a mermaid! As she came closer her dark, loving eyes transmitted love and compassion deeply into my eyes and my being-ness...every cell within me relaxed, felt loved, and knew peace. The two of us floated in total stillness for only a few moments in a glorious dimension beyond time and space. Finally when I could wait no longer, I swam up for air. When I dove back down to find her, she was gone. This, as I see it now, was the initiation into my life as a mystic and teacher. I returned year after year to this spot and grew to know her energies as Quan Yin, the bodhissatva and goddess of compassion. I have many stories to impart to take you to her. It is with great joy that I return to this bay to teach a retreat about coming home to your self—your true self.
The Napili Kai is a a resort in the tradition of Old Hawaii: Beautiful, laid-back, with lovely rooms and amenities and great ocean views all the way around. Their beloved restaurant, The Sea House, is one of the best in all of the Hawaiian islands. There's nothing like feeling your gratitude for being alive and toasting the incredible sunsets on Napili Bay with a cool tropical elixir and a dinner of opakapaka pink snapper laced with macadamia nuts and white wine...
Rooming and Registration
The Napili Kai is 45 minutes from Kahului Airport, 20 minutes from Lahaina (shopping and high-energy fun), 15 minutes from Kaanapali (miles of great beaches and glamorous hotels) and 5 minutes from Kapalua (great golf courses, etc.) I have secured lovely, oceanview rooms at rack rates for the three nights of the retreat and three nights before and after. Because the resort has reserved space for us, there will be non-refundable fee for cancelling after a certain date. I will know more as we get into the month of June. Featured Presenters - Terry Attwood has been a Reiki Master for thirty years and has been in private practice since in Belmont, California. The tremendous work she is doing now involves helping others to prepare for the New Age and changes that are coming faster than we ever could have imagined. Jan Venturini (http://janventurini.com) has been a life coach and mentor to the San Francisco Bay area for twenty years. Her work with "AquaTouch," a process of self-discovery practiced in the ocean, is second to none. Both are marvelous teachers and I am so honored to have them with me.
